I thought that the fries were gonna be somewhat bland since most places I go their fries have little to no salt. When I tried the fries they were really good, not too much salt and not too little. Would come again.

I ordered the patty melt, well done and it was still juicy and flavorful. I also ordered the snickerdoodle shake and it was to die for. I will definitely revisit and recommend.

Such good food! Ordered for my co-workers working night shift it really made the night we loved it!

The melt has the best food ! The staff had amazing service! If anyone is in the area looking for good food it's a must go ! Jim was amazing and has a great personality!

Amazing food Great customer service And a very hospitable environment I recommend this place is a 10/10.

It was past around 7:30PM on a Friday night when my wife and I needed some food. We went on a walk and ended up at the food court near the Target/Nordstrom Rack when we stumbled across The Melt! This place focuses on burgers, melts, fries, and chicken sandwiches but when a place is called The Melt, I had to order a dang burger melt. The Patty melt itself was almost twice the size of a burger so I was only able to crush half of it as well as half an order of the garlic french fries we split between the two of us. The burger had great flavour and I really enjoyed it. The garlic french fries had great taste as well and made for a great pairing. Overall, The Melt is a solid little fast food joint conveniently located inside a busy food court. The service here was solid, the speed was quick, and even if the tables weren't the cleanest, I still enjoyed my dinner here.

The melt burger is pretty nice, though pretty simple. It has a nice heartiness with the meat, cheese, and charbroil flavor. The place also has a soda fountain with more artisan drinks to choose from. It's the usually cherry, cola, ginger ale, etc., but it's really fizzy and uses real sugar.

The Melt is inside a Mall/Plaza, parking lot was weird to find and it was not free, but The Melt did validate our parking ticket. When you arrive inside the plaza the Melt is inside the Food Hall (you can't miss it, there is a huge sign above the hall entrance). We went late evening (9:30pm) and it was the only food establishment open (smart move on their part). I loved the Tomato soup, it was just the right amount of savory and a tad bit sweet. The grilled cheese melt was delicious! And perfectly complimented the tomato soup. Highly recommend! The French fries were good, nothing too special. And the mini-Mac&Cheese was alright, I would not get again, it lacked flavor. My husband got the melt burger, and he liked it, he just said that it is very filling. Overall, I would recommend The Melt for the soup and grill cheese. So good!

Since the folks from The Melt reached out to me, and I think it's nice when a business wants to improve and apologize, I decided to give it another since when in DTLA because we like their food. So, I stopped by last week and placed my order at the counter for dinning in (since we like their outdoor area a lot). Unfortunately, when I picked it up, it was arranged in a bag for to go and the 2 strawberry lemonades we ordered were missing. I did ask the staff member whom I placed my order with why it was bagged since I mentioned a few times to him that it's for eating at restaurant, but he didn't acknowledge me as he didn't talk to me when I placed the order, the type of employee that is scared about talking to people, even if it is part of their job. So, not impressed again with their service. Food is the best part at The Melt. We enjoyed their Patty Melts, gooey with mustard, which it gives the sandwich a nice kick. I would definitely recommend and get it again. And let's not forget the pickle, always a great addition! Just the right amount of food! The parmesan garlic fries are a must, delicious, full of flavor! And the strawberries lemonades are my go to drink here, natural, full of fruit at the bottom. As usual, at The Melt, the food is the star, you can count on them for a delicious, indulging meal. Customer service still needs improvement at this location. I'll stop by again when in the area, eating outdoors here it's a plus!
